Cemeterial rites

     In both cases it is essential to keep in mind that people burial places are of powerful energy so it is not worth overindulging in such rites for an obvious reason. But how to protect yourself in case this rite is to be carried out nevertheless?  What is the actual risk of performing a cemeterial rite? Why is the cemeterial rite considered one of the most powerful methods of magic thrust?

   Magic is a science of sheer precision. The slightest inaccuracy in the rite performance may lead to great troubles for an executor of such rite above all. A person, who has ventured to disturb the burial place, may develop cancer or mental disorders as well as fall victim to disastrous occurrence. Moreover, not only him will feel the recoil of own deeds but also his relatives will oftentimes suffer the punishment being guilty though guiltless.
 
   Cemeterial rites ensure an immediate effect. However, one shall know much and be a good hand at practicing magic. There are few basic principles of performing cemeterial rites. First and foremost, you need not to be afraid. You shall respect and value the deceased but not get awestruck. And if the very thought of any actions to be conducted at the cemetery horrifies you, drop the idea of carrying out such a rite. For another thing, the graveyard shall be entered through a wicket only as a central lich-gate is intended to carry in the deceased. Before crossing the line, stay by the entrance and say: «Hereby I bend low and render honors to the nether world», then make a bow and after that only enter the graveyard through the wicket. Thirdly, you shall leave the graveyard, having obligingly bidden farewell to spirits and thanked them for help. Make sure to place gifts and pay-offs on graves (this point will be described later on). Fourthly, never look back when leaving the cemetery. It would be better to say the following: «Render to the dead things that are the dead's and render to the quick things that are the quick's. You shall lie here and I shall run home. That is true».
 
   All cemeterial rites and ceremonies are performed at active graves only i.e. those that are inhabited by spirits. An extinct grave won’t yield results and you’ll just shatter its peace and quiet unnecessarily. The active grave is easily recognized by birds visiting it or dog traces visible in winter. In summer turn your attention to greenery: peculiarly-shaped trees growing by or abundance of lush nettle. A broken cross or damaged monument may also signify the active grave. In case a crow caws or a black dog crops up somewhere nearby as the rite is being performed, it shall be considered a good sign. Regardless of a kind of the rite you are going to carry out, you shall pay obeisance to the grave. For this purpose stamp your foot against the ground and say the following: «People do greet the nether world, and in the same way I greet you, the grave. You are a door and a passage that is open now. Amen». Then throw a pinch of dried rye bread ground to powder at the grave.
 
    Devote great care to the pay-offs. They are obligatory when practicing cemeterial rites! Pay-offs shall be both left at the very grave and presented to the Master and the Mistress. As for the Master, a bottle of quality vodka (for instance one that you would drink should the opportunity arise) is normally presented. And as for the Mistress, red wine will have to do. However, that is just the backbone pay-off. The female spirit is also presented with jewelries and perfumes. Besides, when conducting such a rite as the cemeterial binding, the Black Widow (Mistress) is usually appealed to. If the hex is to be cast over, the Master only is turned to.
    There are lots and lots of methods of protection from the cemeterial negative thrust. For instance, you may buy a white towel (keep in mind that you shall not bargain) and tie it in a knot in the middle. Wash your face and hands, wipe yourself with one tail-portion of the towel only and say the following words: «I will come being the same way I was when leaving». After the return from the graveyard, wash up again and dry yourself with another tail-portion of the towel. Bear in mind that the mentioned white towel shall not be kept with you later on. Make sure to burn or bury this towel or as a last resort throw it into the streaming river.
 
    In case the rite has not answered at all (as anyone may make a mistake) or the magic thrust has been exposed by a victim, it is vital to perform the rite of shifting onto a tree, which may also be made as a preventive measure. The shifting onto a tree shall be carried out on your birthday date regardless of the month. Three days before the rite performance it is essential to tie a red woolen thread round your dominant hand. Wear it throughout a three-day period and don’t take it off even for a single second. Besides, prevent this thread from getting wet. On the day of performance of the shifting onto a tree take a ritual black-handled knife and cut the thumb of your indominant hand (the left one for right-handers and correspondingly the right one for left-handers). Soak the red thread with your blood, having taken it off in advance. Then tie the thread over any branch of a chosen tree making three knots. When tying every knot say the following words: «Here is mine for you, and I need yours. I swap it with you and shield myself with you! That is true». Snap off any other branch of the said tree silently and hide in your bosom. Talk to nobody on your way home. Then hide the branch so that it won’t be ever seen by anybody. In case any rite is conducted at home, place this branch at the altar to ensure the greater protection. If the tree gets cut down or wizened or else somebody takes the red thread off or it gets broken itself, the shifting will loose its efficiency and therefore shall be repeated.

    Cemeterial rites are the strongest methods of magic thrust so they shall be treated correspondingly. So the cemetery is not a place for the unskilled as not only dead bodies repose there but also lots of spirits inhabit its territory.
